Friday Finds #8

Sorry this post is coming to you a day late! This semester is really taking a toll on me - I've been unbearably busy. Hopefully things will ease up a little bit in the upcoming weeks.

Friday Finds #7

Originally, I was thinking of making this Friday Finds burgundy themed, but since I did a burgundy etsy finds post yesterday, I figured I would just stick with the regular post I had planned.

Friday Finds #6

I decided to change my "If I had a million dollars..." posts to  be called Friday Finds instead. I like the idea of a shorter name, and who doesn't love a good alliteration?

If I had a million dollars... [3]

Sorry for the lack of posts last week, I was in New Zealand. Now that I am back, expect lots of NZ posts! But first, a late "If I had a million dollars" post (coming from the airport in Washington D.C.).

V-Neck Vertical Stripe Cardigan @ OASAP
I am so infatuated with this sweater. Everything from the color, the pattern, and the fit is just perfect.

Scallop Hem Play Shorts @ ShopAkira
Scallop hems are a favorite of mine. I like these shorts because they would look great both
with and without tights.

Turquoise and Hematite Necklace @ SeptemberWillow
This necklace is truly gorgeous. If you haven't noticed, I love geometric designs.

Black Studded Cuff Shirt @ Dorothy Perkins
I've been looking around everywhere for a sheer blouse that I love, and with the studded cuffs,
this might be the one!

  1. This bra from ASOS is so cute that I would wear it as a top! (Is that kosher?)
  2. I love how these lace cut-out leggings from boohoo are both sexy and fun.
  3. Butterflies have always been a favorite of mine. I like this floral butterfly scarf from Oasis because it has butterflies on it (duh!) and because it will be a great transition piece from summer to fall.
  4. This gold geometric plate belt from Zara is both functional and fun.

If I had a million dollars... [2]

Geo Print Sweater Dress @ Flying Tomato
I really love the bright geometric print of this dress. The fact that it's a sweater dress makes it
a perfect transition piece into fall.

Multi Coloured Tie Dye Leggings @ Topshop
These tie-dye leggings are so much fun. I would imagine that they could be difficult to pull off,
but I would love to try!

Stepping Zebra Tunic @ Miss Selfridge
It may still be too warm out for sweaters, but I am so in love with this zebra sweater that
I would wear it in the 90F heat anyway!

Weekend Shopper Totebag @ Urbanog
This bag would be perfect for carrying books around campus. It has a classic look,
but the pop of green adds a fun element to it.

and some more..........
  1. I am in love with this Insect Study Journal from Anthropologie.
  2. This top from Modcloth is so cute. It's very Spring/Summer, but I would have no problem wearing it into the early fall.

If I had a million dollars... [1]

Here's my attempt at starting a fairly regular series called "If I had a million dollars..." If you couldn't figure out from the title, it's going to be items I would buy if I had the money (and consumerist mindset)!

Something Else Splice Strap Dress, By Something Else by Natalie Wood @ Koshka
I really love the straps on this dress - it would be so perfect for a night out on the town with the girls!

Hollowed Flower Printed Yellow Shorts @ Romwe
I really love the bold funky pattern of these shorts! They're very playful and fun.

Drew. Amber Crystal Ring @ This Enchanted Pixie
This amber ring is just beautiful. It reminds me of archaeology and fossils and such.

Bursa Khaki Green Vegan Platform Sandals @ Alternative Outfitters

I wouldn't call myself much of a shoe person by any means (especially because
it can be hard to find cute vegan shoes), but these sandals are just adorable!

And more...........
  1. This bracelet is small and simple, yet can make a big statement in any outfit.
  2. I don't think I would be able to contain my excitement/laughter after finding the otter on the bottom of this surprise otter mug.
  3. My wrists are too small to be able to wear cuff bracelets, but if I could, this cuff would be ideal to pair with any bohemian-inspired outfit.
  4. These black cat sunglasses make me giggle! I would love to wear these and see people's reactions.
