At my school, off-campus living is very minimal and over 90% of students live on campus for all 4 years. I'm one of those 90%+. Dorm living definitely has it's ups and downs. I really love being able to decorate and arrange a new room every year. I always see so many fabulous dorm room ideas online, so I figured I would share some that have been inspiring me to decorate my room (or side of my room - I have a roommate) this year. Eventually, I will hopefully be posting some pictures of my own room to share (granted it looks good enough for me to want to share).

Dorm Room Style

I cannot believe the my final year of undergrad is already underway. I do not feel old enough to be here (sometimes I still think I'm 17 or so). I will have my bachelor's degree in less than 8 months.

I am liking the frame idea! I love decorating too, it makes you feel at home and safe.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the comment on my blog: yes, piercings are addictive! Side nose ring doesn't hurt at all, do it on very cold day so your nose is numb and the procedure will be hopefully painless :-)

Melissa, thanks so much for visiting my blog. I loved your ideas on dorm room decorating. I am using clothes pins to display some cards I made for a church bazaar. That one looks neat and clean to me. I also liked the idea of removable wall murals. That will also come in handy when you have to rent an apartment after your school days are behind you. Good luck on the next 8 months of college and on grad school or job after that.

I lived at home when I was in college and I still live at home (only until March, when I'm moving to London!), but I would have loved to go through the whole college experience. In Portugal we aren't big on dormrooms though, which seems a shame but it's because our cities and universities aren't big enough for it to be necessary.
ReplyDeleteP.S. - I can't wait for autumn to arrive!
Sooo cute, we love this!
