Now that I've moved to Boston, it seems that I do much more walking than I have ever done, even than when I was living on a college campus. My "pretty" coat is not thick enough or suitable for the cold, and my "practical" coat makes me look like a jolly, round marshmallow. Not to mention it's not in the best shape, since it is probably about seven years old. I'm thinking I need a warm, thick trench coat.
Here are some lovely trench coats that serve multiple functions as practical AND pretty.
Top row (from left): Hee Grand Women's Trench Coat, from Amazon, $34 // Stadium-Cloth Boulevard Trench, from J. Crew, $365 // Burberry London Herringbone Felt Trench Coat, from My Theresa, $2249 // Mint Velvet Black Trench Coat, from House of Fraser, $240
Middle row: Kaliko Full Skirt Coat in Red, from John Lewis, $285 // Ted Baker Carisa Full Skirt Trench Coat, from House of Fraser, $365 // Blue NW3 Skirted Trench Coat, from Hobbs, $240 // Ruby Rocks Fairly Made Houndstooth Trench Coat, from Fashion Conscious, $110
Bottom row: Vanessa Bruno Drap de Laine Compact Long Trench Coat, from My Wardrobe, $1011 // ELLE Ruffle Pleated Trench Coat, from Kohl's, $68 // Torrentshell Trench Coat, from Patagonia, $199 // Hancock Contrast-Collar Trench Coat, from Matches Fashion, $271

ReplyDeleteOh my, these are amazing! The very first one with a bow is my absolute favorite.
ReplyDeleteI don't if you've watched Once Upon A Time but Ginnifer Goodwin (as a teacher) always wore the cutest coats. Well, during the first season at least...I quit watching after that. :)
Oooh, these are all super cute, especially the first one. I don't know if you've ever watched Once Upon A Time but Ginnifer Goodwin always wore the cutest coats on that show (as a teacher). :)

Great selection, I love the ones in the 3rd column! You should also try a parka for the cold weather, mine has taken me through a few Wisconsin winters.
